How about a ziplock bag with a chilled / frozen pasta ragout
Then boil up pasta , drop in bag , heat , drain
Then mix the ragout ?

Works for me

Tough to cook with jetboils etc as they aren't super
controllable , tends to be all or nowt

packet dried pasta and sauce from the supermarket. Simple fuel, usually not too rank tasting either.
Easy to carry, easy to cook, simple to digest.

Boil in the bag at it's finest.

Those 'Look what we found' meals are lovely though the portions aren't on the generous side! Could easily eat two especially during a day out in the hills. Super tasty though

I had the meat balls from booths so nice, but did take a while to heat and in a tiny pan it was a bit difficult, when i say pan i mean take away tray on an open fire, which did eventually burn through on. Pan next time!
