It is for my 70 year old Mum so not butt plug type ideas please.

70 years old, active member of the ramblers (Red socked Nazis), has pretty much everything she wants or needs.

Any ideas better than jewellery or a piece of original art?

Good quality item of outdoor clothing? Merino base layer? Waterproof map case (Ortlieb)? Flask?

Just because your Mum is 70 and you think she has everything she wants or needs, doesn't mean she may not like some kind of luxury.
I adore handbags and can't ever imagine not being pleased to receive one. What is your Mum's vice???

A weekend away at a luxury hotel?
Some luxury sheepskin slippers, fab jamas and gorgeous dressing gown?
A voucher to get hair done for a year?
New walking boots?
A few pairs of cashmere socks?
What are her favourite films of old? Get them on Amazon on DVD.
Does she have a favourite cafe/restaurant? A tab behind the "bar" for the next few months.
What is her favourite perfume? get her the perfume and the body lotion.
Gardening vouchers?
Is there anything she wishes she had done? (sky diving, sailing etc), books some lessons.
I really hope when I'm 70 I am still seen as a woman, and not just an OAP who has everything.
HTH.
FCx

A year's National Trust membership? Then at the very least she can get free parking at their car parks which are usually conveniently located in areas for good walks + many of their estates have nice big walks radiating out of them.

What's her favourite walk? Find a local artist and get them to capture it on canvas. Other than that, go to Selfridges and buy luxury items.

Angela is closest I think

My Mum is not some 70 OAP she is a woman. I think perfume, jewelery and a weekend adventure should cover it.

Hot Air balloon, glider? Anyone tried it?
