I got a bunch of Bike Ray 2 (p7), 3 (3 x XPG) and 4 (4 x XPG) on their way to the UK. I just wanted to gauge interest for now.. not selling here and now in this thread, and I will make a proper classified advert when they arrive.. but might anyone be interested in bike ray 2, 3 and 4.. approx £65, £90, and £110 each respectively? Just trying to get an idea of any interest.

Sorry of this email breaks rules. I am not a professional businessman, just trying to earn some extra pocket money. Just to be clear I don't have them yet and nor is this an advert. I will make a proper add in classified when I get them.

I think you might struggle given the DX bike light and various reimporters of it that are already known on here as well as Trout and luminous with their lights. The ones youa re importing would seem to sit inbetween them in price

DX bike light? You mean dealextreme? That's just magicshine and similar isn't it? I personally think the bike ray stuff is better quality.

XPG is hardly 2009, I mean, what has replaced it? MTBR is raving about the bike ray 3 and 4.

Thats the one I mean - there are a couple of versions of it and people in the UK selling them.

the 3 and 4 are OK prices for xpg triples and quads. You should be able to sell them OK but don't expect them to go like hot cakes. Smudge has an XML light selling at that sort of price IIRC, luminous does a 4 xpg one. Plenty of competition out there. You fall ab bit between cheapand cheerful magicshine and expensive but good top end lights

Good luck with them

Lightslightslights are doing BikeRay III's for £98.90 at the mo'. Must admit, they appear to be very good value compared to, say, Lumicycle. Not in the market tho' sorry.

Interested in a bikeray IV, have you got a website or will you be selling through ebay or other? Sam

Would highly recommend the Bikeray Ray III light. Got mine from Bikeray UK.

Output, beam pattern and burn time are all absolutely excellent!

Also treated myself to an Open Light Systems 17.4Ah bottle battery as I am doing a night marathon event in a few weeks.

Hoping it will last without needing to recharge it.
