Anyone been to this before: http://www.bigtentfestival.co.uk ?
We were thinking of going along and camping with our two year old. Seems to be child friendly (face painting, story telling, family campgrounds etc).
Hi Graham,
I help to organise this event so you might think I am biased...!!however I went there in 2010 as a normal punter with my family and a friends family and we had a supurb time!,,,The family we were with had never been to a festival before and loved it (they were vegetarians and were impressed with the veggie cafe!)...the kids with us were one girl aged 2, and two 5 year old boys.
Of course by complete conicidence I now work with the festival so we are all going back this year!!...lots for kids to do...quite a few specialist kids entertainers booked as well as hut building, songs, poetry, a family dance programme and a lot of it happens undercover or in well appointed areas...camping is fab too...lots of families go..music is also brilliant and you see the bands really close up..
Anyway...hope to see you there!
Angela.
Nice one, thanks Angela.
My cousin (Vivienne Bern of The Coaltown Daisies) is playing there, so it would be great to see her play.
What's the deal with tent pitches? We have a few families that are thinking of going so it would be nice if we could all pitch near each other. Is there any way to reserve several pitches together or is it just first-come first-served?
I took my 9 year old French neice last year, she loved it. Tons to do and eat!
