DO NOT go to Folding Sliding Doors or Sliding Folding Doors in Bradford.

Utter Arseholes.

Our doors are fine now, but it was a ball ache getting them sorted.

Wickes Folding Patio Doors.

http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/187526?WT.ac=SP100022

We had some of these fitted last July and they are excellent. This is not just my opinion but also the builders who fitted them. They had fitted similar and more expensive products but said the Wickes doors were superbly made, came with everything in the boxes and went together easily, in fact they allowed two days and the job only took one.

They fold and slide smoothly, really neat fittings and locks and when you open the "three door" panel they fold perfectly parallel against each other so you get th emaximum opening possible.

If Wickes are still using the same supplier and you are a competent DIY er have a good look at these.

Ours came untreated, so allow for three coats of whatever wood finish you prefer.

We went to Folding Sliding Doors and I think they are ok'ish - for the price. Can send you pics if you want. They were a pain to fit as the frame is 4 separate bits. Therefore you struggle to get everything square. You really want the whole frame delivered as one you can then pack it out as required.

These were ral colored alu by the way, can't comment on wood.
