^^into the wild is good

I'd like to shore up my Walk the Line nomination with Zero Dark Thirty, also.

The War of the Worlds.

Well, it was true for a while at least. I think that counts.

Interesting, I thought Into Thin Air the book was gripping, immersive and powerful, and the film turgid amateurish bollocks.

The War of the Worlds.

Apparently that aspect of it is completely overblown and hyped up.

Dead Snow?
Iron Sky?

In all seriousness though, I was impressed with Jack Strong - seemed cliched and unrealistic till you found out it was all true!

Are documentary films allowed?

Then "The Smartest Guys in the Room" about the rise and fall or Enron. very disturbing, very watchable

ooh, and "The Act of Killing" about the Indonesian Killings of 65-66. Director gets the killers themselves to act out the murders they carried out.
