Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I just want to voice my appreciation for Hope. I managed to lose the bolt and retainer from my vision 1 (don't ask), and e-mailed them to ask if they sold these as aftermarket parts. They e-mailed me back (within 5 minutes) asking me for my address so they could post me the bits free of charge - why can't every company deal with their customers as well as this? Chapeaux!
just had some great service from Microsoft, kids xbox controller kept turning off so went on website and reported it, printed off free postage label, sent off controller, 1 week later brand new controller received
read the thread title and thought, if this isn't Hope or Oakley, the guy has got it worng! Really not surprised to hear it's Hope. They really do rate as number 1 for customer service. (their products are pretty damn good as well).
Let's be frank, it was never gonna be about Kaesae's frame tuning service, was it?
another vote here for Hope. It was only a bearing replacement they did for me, but it was cheaper than me sourcing the bearings myself! they stripped the hub and rebuilt with a new freewheel for a teeeeny cost and posted back next day. was very impressed with them.
See above for all your bearing needs!
Maybe if there kit was built to last they wouldn't need to have such good customer service.... 😉
Hope customer service is absolutely top notch. As is Merida's. I ordered some replacement bearings at 4pm and they were sat waiting for me on my desk at 9am the next morning. They couldn't have been more friendly or helpful either. Brilliant!
Goan, I'm still running Hope E4 brakes from when they were first released. Might have gone through a few oads and changed the seals but that to me is a product that lasts.
Anyone got a seal kit for the original 4 pot Shimano XT brakes??????
I dealt with On-One last week and they were spot on too.
Nice to read a thread that isn't full of moaning. 😀
I've had excellent service from both On-One and Hope in the past as well, but can I also add a 'big-up' to JadlamRacingModels.com
We'd ordered a Scalextric for my daughters* birthday and when we came to put it together on Sunday we found we were a piece of track missing, so I emailed Jadlam yesterday morning and the replacement bit arrived half an hour ago. Top service - I didn't expect to see it this side Christmas.
And a 'big-up' for Amazon as well - I've probably placed 10 orders with them this Chrimbo and all have arrived when they said they would.
(* yes my daughter!)

my bearing replacement was after 4 years of continuous use.
Altura, had a pair of crocheted gloves from them about 6 months ago, and the thumb bit ripped so sent them back, and got a nice letter and a brand new pair, and theyre guaranteed for 2 years.Ill probably loose them before then though.
have had some tremendously bad customer service from Hope, and some tremendously good customer service too. Never 'just ok'.

I've had this broom for 25 years. Its had 5 new heads and 3 new handles. Still going strong.
Never had to replace my shimano seals and they're 4 years old. If the seals go in the next 6 months I'll just pick a new caliper up for about £40. Also shimano brake work...
Like the hubs though.
Hope email service seems to have become very good. A couple of years back it seemed impossible to get an answer via email, last week it was amazingly fast. Great job, much appreciated you have upped this aspect of customer service.
Yes, Amazon.
3pm called to say 2 month old Xbox was locking up.
8am new Xbox at the door.
Postage label inside for old one to be returned within 28days.
Wiggle, 2 kids helmets ordered Sunday night 10pm with free postage option. Tuesday lunchtime helmets arrive.
Good service shout also to mtbdirect.co.uk & Mojo. TFT werent so hot last time I used them but they are usually very good also.
Bad service grumble to the Forestry People on Cannock Chase. Took the lads up to see Santa on Sunday morning. Place was like a bloody skating rink, really really bad. No gritting at all. Mrs went over as did plenty of others. And also a bit unfair to expect young children to wait patiently for over an hour in a freezing cold dark tunnel, albeit festooned with fairy lights, to see the big man. Why not give a time to come back. Vote with feet next year me thinks.
