[#7185919]

This commercial played so often when I was a kid, I was completely enthralled. I got one after asking for it for two Christmases. My parents thought there was something wrong with me.

On a completely different note (and especially good for parents), is this one:

That ad for the safety systems on the M Class. Maybe he should bloody look where he's going and not at the baby in that bloody rain.

Bit of a cheat as it's a viral rather than a TV ad, but still.

I liked the advert that was split into three parts - one at the beginning of the break, one in the middle and one at the end. It was an Aborigine guy throwing boomerangs and they didn't come back. I think he then drank some Heineken (or did he smoke a Hamlet cigar?) and they all came back at him.

It was the first time I had seen an ad split like that and for the first two parts you had no idea what they were selling - compelling.

Honda ads are fantastic the first time you see them, but they do get very boring after the first viewing.

This 'don't join the IRA advert' always stuck with me when I was little, although watching it again, it's not so subtle!

The sound gives me goosebumps, and I wouldn't even call myself a petrolhead.

I was about to post the 'lizard on the phone' one. I'd have been 15 when that aired, made me go a bit funny.

Strange trailofdestruction video didn't show up when I first opened the thread. Still imo can never have to much of the advert.

A little bit of re-dubbing always improves an advert
