I've currently got Spybot Search & Destroy. IS this any good? What's best to use?

On here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/ they have a page devoted to disinfecting PCs with viruses, spyware, etc. I just looked through it and ran a couple of the programs they say to use.
Think it included adaware and MalwareBytes, amongst others.
