Looking for a 1L (or bigger) flask to take on outdoor family jaunts (not running or biking). Needs to keep hot things hot and cold things cold for say 6-8 hours. Don't see the point spending £30 on the high-end ones, which leaves the usual Thermos/Stanley) variants ... what do you use that works?

TK Maxx is good for flasks. Thermos work for me.
