Looking for somewhere nice and central, preferably mitte, but open to suggestions. Going with wife and wee girl, so somewhere quiet with nice food nearby would be good. I don't mind hotel or self catering apartment.

Thanks.

Stayed at the Park Inn at Alexanderplatz. Not exactly a quiet area, but ask for a room up high and you won't hear much, plus you get fantastic views of the city. I don't think it was too expensive either.

Probably pricey, but with a bit of a wow factor is the Radisson, it has a huge aquarium in reception (if you don't stay it's worth wandering in for a nosey at it!) More impressive than the wine angels at Radisson Stansted!

There's a lift goes up through the middle of that aquarium. I was only doing a site visit and didn't have time to try it out though.
