What is this? Flew into my bedroom very badly and noisily last night, crashing into walls, curtains etc waking me up. I tried to get it out the window but it seemed very dozy. It was bright green with red bits on its back (photos don't really do it justice). It was about 7mm long I guess

Oh and I rent so no comments on the curtains please

Looks a bit like a "stink bug"

note the second word in it's binomial name

means it's given you piles by the way
