on a whim, lastnight i shaved off five months worth of beard.

i now feel a bit naked when i look in the mirror and regret having done it.

and it is noticeably colder when i go outside.

but i can now get a dust mask to fit onto my face.

1) shave off pubes
2) apply pritt stick to face
3) apply pubes to face
4) rejoice in replacement beard

HTH

beards are a bit *weird* sorry, dunno why but they just look a bit "recently released" shaved is much better.

i think trimmed beards are wierd. as are moustaches.

my beards come about every 3-4 months as i can't be bothered to shave.

i think someone who is prepared to ponce about 2-3 times a week in front of a mirror with their facial hair is odd.

wierd beard:

Alpin,

it's not cool because as you said "you can't be bothered"

Alpin - me too a few weeks back, yes it was as shock, but Mrs Stealf loved the new look. Feel a bit bad for her as I intend to start growing it back soon.....

I grew a beard, made me look like I had a tennis ball on top of my neck, took it off again. Not cool for me

My husband recently grew a beard, he looks proper sexy (but I don't objectify and him and totally respect him as a person, and he already was gorgeous, so that helps). It did also cause much mirth as it coincided with him acquiring a 29er....

I did the same 2 nights ago. Always have it neatly trimmed to follow my jaw and a number 3 or 4 in length. Thought I better reimind myself what I actually look like. Hopefully It'll be mostly back by the weekend!
