Precision: The Measure of All Things - Excellent viewing of what could so easily be dry and dull.

Follow it up with Jim Al-Kahalili's programs about Quantum Physics, watch them with your kids (maybe not the youngest)!

Thought provoking and worth the license fee alone IMO.

Its a shame the BBC is knocked so much these days. Currently enjoying programmes about pop art. Caught up on the history of graffitti last night.

I agree some of the science, education and arts programs are well thought through and presented in an entertaining and palatable style, which is sometimes difficult to achieve given the subject matter! I doubt any of the other broadcasters would even bother to cover some of the ground the BBC does.

Cycling? BBC Northern Ireland's Something to Ride Home About. Recommended by a chum and not sampled yet so could be as crap as that C5 effort...

POSTED 15 HOURS AGO # REPORT-POST

Without wanting to side track the thread, it's pure RW political agenda set out by Murdoch / ITV lobbying the Tories. The breadth of quality programming is second to none, and this country would lose something envied globally if it went down the privatisation route. I haven't watched ITV since they stopped showing F1.
