a) missing 'd' can still be fixed
b) isn't this "news" at least a month late ?

I was surprised to discover that this wasn't a story about an imminent Muslim invasion 😕

Winds and rain set to sweep Britain

I live in the west of Scotland, this isn't really news to me.

Typical! My bike is getting fixed today and it's not been raining with more than enough sun. Does this mean I will get drenched at Dalbeattie tomorrow morning or will I fluke it again and miss the rain?

Just ride anyway, it's only rain - [s]it won't[/s] it's unlikely to kill you

I am going to ride anyway - I have a Bogtrotters ride to get fit for this weekend. I suppose getting wet is good practice for a Bogtrotters' ride anyway seeing as they always seem to fall off into rivers and fords and streams and all judging by their photos. 🙂

Still, it has its compensations:

The forecast comes as fans at Old Trafford were left disappointed again on Tuesday night as the second of England's Twenty20 internationals against Australia was washed out without a ball being bowled following thunderstorms in Manchester.

don't worry, if you don't manage to fall off you'll be pushed...

Make sure you practice stopping every 100m to take photos.

Aracer

As someone who runs a Flickr One Photo Every Day 365 group I have no issues with this and indeed am very much looking forward to the ride! 😀

Are you sure. I'm sure Batten don't own all the hatches. For a start I own the one that gives me access to my loft
