Leonard Robinson

He seemed like a really nice guy who was always thinking of others and wasn't in it for the celebrity status.

Known as the "Route 29 Batman", Robinson had spent the last 14 years visiting sick children in hospital and handing out Batman paraphernalia in full superhero dress.

RIP Leonard

Sounded like a great bloke, I am sure he will be missed greatly.

There's a lot of this sort of thing in the USA - they are a weird bunch over there sometimes but there is a good tradition of people who have made money in their lives passing onto others in various ways to share the wealth. Every country needs a lot more of that sort of thing.

That's a good catchphrase, that!!

I'm gonna link to that BBC article on Faceache & ask people to "Be More Leonard....!"

Argh, this has really played on my mind today 🙁

Anyhow, just a pointless bump for the later nighters that weren't aware.

I seem to remember seeing him a while back - it wasn't a cheap costume at all was it? Proper quality outfit and looked the part.

He was awesome, very sad. Though... I still want to...

Why did the car break down? I heard it lost a wheel?

Apparently he was in his proper Batmobile and had engine problems.
