Got a spare hole in the middle of the bathroom ceiling and fancied a bit of radio in the shower. We have dab in the bedroom what the consensus for getting audio into the bathroom without it looking crappy and making use of the extra hole?

I would fit a bathroom speaker in the hole providing there isn't a joist in the middle of it or anything.

Just run the speaker wires to an amp or something in the loft or over in to another room then.

Running the cables might be a bit tricky - I ran all my cables before the plasterboard went on the walls. My solution is:

Ceiling speaker - these from BKElec look a bargain (can't imagine they sell anything poor)
In wall digital amplifier - these Vision TechConnect come up cheap on eBay
Line out cable from the bedroom radio to the amp
