Not had it done, but will be needing it done later this year as we're fitting an old roll-top bath (it desperately needs re-enameling).

Any chance of some before and after pics please shreck? and details of who's doing it for you as I'm having difficulty finding someone to do it!

Cheers

Cheers. Wor lass want to buy one of those DIY kits as there's a small chip on the edge. I've tried telling her I'd rather pay a professional to do a bloody good job rather than **** it up and then have to pay someone. But will she be told? will she **** as like.......she knows better apparently 👿

I had one done a few years back, with a pretty bad rusty bath we had, think it cost us £200.

They masked everything down and covered everything in the bathroom, but we still had a very thin covering of enamel over the blinds and windows after they finished.

So it might be worth clearing absolutely everything you can out first, also check they masked everything correctly before they start spraying, round the taps, plug hole.

Also make sure they sand down all of the bath to a smooth finish, we found a rough spot they did not sand down correctly where you sit!

😉

It did last though, think next time I would get it done properly and remove the bath rather than trying to do it where its situated.

There is an old mill near tesco/morrisons in Failsworth, Manchester that does it, not sure of the price but if you are ever about its worth popping in, floors of old antique furniture and small nic nack shops in the basement including an elvis impersonator/shop
