should be a hanging offence. That is all. 😈
Long time ago I used to give a work mate a lift and he was always late - that was until the day I went without him. He suddenly became a good time keeper after that - point being bad time keepers will always be that way if you put up with them and their tardiness.
Good Point shame it was a bit late was waiting for a reminder 1/2 hr ago.
Most people I work with dont seem to get if a meeting starts at 9am you should be there in the room ready to go at nine not just arriving and finding a coffee kind of sitting down getting round to starting by 10.
Timed a meeting with a supplier my boss organised recently Start time 9:00 so arrived 8:45 to see supplier shocked and a little disorganised, once tea had been found and a laptop & projector connected it was 9:30 finally got round to work by 10:30...........
bunch of complete and utter [SWEAR FILTER]s
We have someone at work who is always 3-4 mins late. If you can always be 3-4 mins late then they can always be on time. They rely on nobody but themselves to get to work.
Also had a client turn up 40 mins late for an arranged appointment. Needless to say they were not seen (and they lived within short walking distance of the office)
Many years ago, I used ride out to a place to meet Molgrips (of this parish) for an MTB ride. Every time I would wait for anything up to half an hour for him to turn up, in the days before mobile phones. One day, I said we'd meet at 10am when I had no intention of being there myself before 10.30am. Molgrips was early that day.
.....in terms of riding. 10 mins max for being late...then we fooooooook off. Needless to say everyone is on time.
...back then though it was just us two, and we'd ridden 30 mins each to get to the meeting point.
Not only do some turn up late but then spend 10 minutes fettling the bike grrrrrrrr.
