There seem to be a few camera threads at the mo so maybe a good time to ask.

A few times recently I've wished I had a camera with me when running or biking. I've a Panasonic TZ4 but fancied something smaller and lighter. I do have a camera on my phone but it's terrible and as I PAYG on the phone I don't really want to spend £150 on a phone to get a decent ish camera with it.

What suggestions for a lightweight, fairly robust compact that will still take decent pictures?

just go to the shop and buy the smallest one in your price range.

I recently for a Panasonic lumix fs10 which is their basic point and shoot camera .. takes a fantastic picture and was only 69 quid! It doesn't have many "advanced" features, but the leica lens takes a better pic than my missus' 250 quid Sony jobbie

Thanks, some helpful suggestions. It's amazing how cheap Li ion has become in the last couple of years since I last looked.

I like the Leica lens on our current Panasonic. Apart from that it seems they're all much of a muchness eh rs?
