Miss OTS wants a telescope for Christmas, we've had a couple of cheap ones in the past, but struggled with getting them pointed at the things she wants to see.

So I'm thinking something like this
Skywatcher SKYHAWK 1145P AZ-GO2 Computerised WiFi GOTO Telescope
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144635199093

or this
Celestron StarSense Explorer LT 114AZ Reflector Telescope

Thoughts?

£300 for a telescope? That's astronomical.

As Rodney would say, Cosmic. 😂

Have a look on the WEX website, they seem to have a good range between your budget & (well) over.

Happy viewing. And when you do come to view I recommend the book Turn Left at Orion for ideas of what to go hunting for in the skies.
