Did you tidy up as a child? Without being nagged?

ummmmmmm all quiet at last.... I can see the floor in the games room for the first time in .... in.... well um ages..... and they are sleeping... and the shiraz is 'well nice' - it's even helped with the headache from last night!

Mind you, not sure if that headache was due to the cider or the large bump I found on my head today..... and no idea where that came from!!!!!

Good night out on the bike....

We have a games room. Unfortunately it is also the kitchen, the lounge, the extension and every other available space...

😆 sounds posh - not so! 2 girls share a room so they have 'their space' and dont fill the lounge with toys and watch Hannah bl...y Montanah all the time I want to relax in front of the telly!!

All this does fit in a small 3 bed semi 😆

Amazingly, mine seems to enjoy tidying up. He sings a little tidying up song.

How worried should I be?

Our house resembles one of them chinese puzzles. To move from room to room we have to push furniture ahead of us.
Expect to see us on one of them Grime-Busters shows someday.

My wife went to an NCT nearly new sale on Saturday to get rid of a load of newborn clothes and I saw a little glimpse of light in my clutter tunnel.

Then she came back with a massive plastic kitchen and a see-saw.
😕

mastiles - it'll only get worse! "well as I'm already up at stupid oclock I might as well go to the Next sale"

just putting Next and Sale in the same sentence makes me shudder

re: toys on the floor, I'd be miffed too if I wasn't busy playing with them. Ben 10 rocks!!

We're trying to sell our house and it is a constant battle to keep the place tidy.

If there are anything like me, the only time the house will be tidy is when they have moved out.

Fear the NCT sale!

Went to one of those once... Hoards of post-natal women with babies strapped to every available bit of their bodies, fighting over 10th hand bits of tat!

It made Primark look like John Lewis...

I'm normally very keen to get a bargain, and more than happy with used gear, but there are limits!

I have to agree - she actually works the sale so she gets first dibs on things too. To be fair I agree with getting second-hand stuff given the rate kids get through things, but she actually admitted she nearly bought a slide even though we just bought this off Ebay about 4 weeks ago!
