I like the sound of this - a big brother to my iphone - should be around £300-£400 - I am a PC man really but used Linux distro's but not really go into the Mac OSX thing.
No news of actual hardware yet but aparently release November? Just in time for an Xmas pressie mmmmm.....
it won't be £300-400 unless its heavily subsidised....
Where do you get your ref from: I have read many articles on this and they all suggest $500-$700 - admitidly there maybe a little xtra on top just because its the UK but still:

Edit :poss one artcle suggests £491 .....
Not getting into a war on this 🙂 Wasn't really a discussion on price just a discussion on wether others like the idea or not 🙂
well the pcadvisor site says 800 US, which it states converts to 491GBP, so actually nearer 500 than 3-400. I imagine by the time it's over here, the real price will be more like 600-700.
it sounds more like it will be a tablet than a netbook so again an opportunity for apple to charge a 'premium'. wouldn't get too excited about a low-cost apple just yet!!
or base it on common sense rather than unsubstantiated rumour? apple don't do cheap....
We believe an Apple tablet would be priced 30%-50% below the $999 MacBook, and would offer best in class web, email, and media software," the report reads. "In other words, we believe Apple's tablet would compete well in the netbook category even though it would not be a netbook."

I heard it's going to cost £3 to £4.3B, have a 2 to 73" screen, weight nothing, or tonnes, and be made of recycled cardboard.
LOL Dougal - yes seems a liitle spculative IMHO 🙂
