the amber light is flashing on my airport express... its the first time ive used it and the airport utility cant pick it up?
also if i already have a wireless router for the net, can i still use the airport express for my printer and speakers?
In theory, though it can be a bitch to set up. Have you tried resetting it?
yup tried pressing the little button on the bottom...
Next would be to check your router isn't blocking it.
I used to use mine as my main router until I got a Billion router. Now they don't talk.
Try plugging in your ethernet cable and try setting it up. I had the same problem last week and it had been setup on my network, for a printer, for a few years with no issues up until I reset the wireless router. Took me over four hours to get it going think it was trying to link up to other networks in the area.
