Last night I was thinking 'is she for real'? Shes very feminine considering the environment that she has to work in.

i think she rather stands out from the competition [ie all those hair blokes as referred to above] but may not pass close inspection.

or a conversation for that matter.

I suspect she can ride a mountain bike better than most people here to.

Ok, I'll say it (someone has to)

I bet she likes sitting ontop of a big powerful throbbing machine

There I've said it. IGMC

She could probably drink more than most men on here.

The series blurb lists her as "school bus driver and state freestyle motocross champion" but a quick google hasn't turned up any more than that.
The Ice Road Truckers exposure should ensure a lucrative career for her over the coming year.

Cue 'exposure' jokes.......

does anyone else find they could probably make the programme about 10 minutes long without all the useles suspense and "coming up" crap they pad it out with. Its like all these type of programs - they've made an occasionally dangerous but largely mundane job into a tv series and consequently have to make the big incidents look bigger by making the build up take up half the show.

the token female does little to inspire me to keep watching unfortunately.

Yes it is a bit repetitive and over dramatic but somehow compelling watching for me. Maybe it's the scenery or the fact that it's real people living a different kind of life in a real place where real sh1t does happen.

Lets face it Lisa was only brought in to try to make what had become a mundane program more interesting.

+1 hora. I was thinking (hoping) that at least she'd have skelped herself in the puss with the wrench thing. The program is pretty poor imo. First time I saw it it was good but its a bit samey now. Wouldn't fancy it as a job though. Wonder what the pay is like?

I have to agree! What has happened to Axe men though, it was on fridays before xmas and now it's disappeared?
I love the father and son who pull submerged logs from the river, I think I and a random donkey could do it better but we wouldn't be as funny!!!!!!
