I'm thinking about flashing my S4 to it but wanted to see if anyone's had any experience first

Does it run faster than the rubbish Samsung version of Android?
Not much point is there? As far as I'm aware they released a stock android for the google play edition S4 that you can flash fairly easily. If it works in the same way as the htc one play edition it should work seamlessly and get OTA android updates at the same time as nexus devices.
I'd be finding a version of AOSP to put on it. I don't much like the CM releases, but I find the plain 'vanilla' interface nice to use. I'm sure someone will have built a version for it.
