Just finished book one and starting book 2, The Aftermath tonight.
Book one was really good. Slow to start then it became a mix of The Walking Dead/ Blackhawk Down/ 28 Days Later.
The zombies aren't zombies (I know someone will mention that!) as they are alive but infected. Importantly they can run, ala, 28 Days which makes the action much more intense.
If rest of series is this good its going to be a great read. 😀
