Always find myself having a flick through on the shelf and the photographs are amazing and seems to be intersting articles.
Noticed online this subscription for £19 for 12 issues (normally £4.99 each) with free fleece and map.

Big fan here, go for it. The photography is always very good and the range of articles over a year is usually pretty diverse. Of course it's a bit liberal/academic US centred but that's no bad thing to get a change from UK centric. Over a few years you build up a fantastic resource for kid school work too if that matters to you.
