We currently have a grand Cmax which we love. Don’t need the 7 seats but do need a bit more oomph.
There’s more cmaxs around and plus they are cheaper.
Big factor is how easy it is to stash a bike inside and sit at least 3 people.
With the middle seat removed is it possible to stand a bike vertically with the front wheel removed? Can do this with our current car.

Yes, I do it often. Upside down, both wheels out, slide in rear first.

As an alternate, I can get a bike in laying down in most cars with 3 seats up,

Bikes tend to have full mudguards so laying down is problematic in not being able to rotate the bars.

Minor Pita for short trips but undo stem bolts and the stem will turn. 2 min job.
