Its 6 months on from my off, and i'm really starting to get pain from the protruding part of the wire. Just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with theirs?

I've just had a hooked plate fitted 3 weeks ago - where is your wire and where is it sticking out?
Will it be in there forever - they will be taking my plate out in 3-4 months.

Usually, the nail should be removed at 3 months.
