Any views and I cant seem to see it at a pay months contract phone yet via the major retailers i.e O2 are supposedly doing it?

not due out for another couple of weeks i dont think ( anything between 4th and 16th Nov ) is being talked about . also indications are that it'll be slightly more expensive than the iphone in terms of plans.

Asked O2 shop today who looked it up on their computer. Launch is 16th November i.e. online unlocked and 23rd in O2 shops 🙂
