Its about a hundred quid dearer then other docks for hi fi connection.
Is it really worth it?
Playing through an (pre tag) 8000s and 8000p pre & power amp set and AVI speakers. currently using a 15 pound Kensington dock from Richer sounds.

When I was at Arcam for a dealer demo I couldn't tell the difference between their dock and the generic cheap unit they used as a comparison. Lots of others seem to believe there was an improvement with the Arcam dock but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hold to a double blind test. No one seemed to think it was a massive difference.

Should be as Arcam hasn't managed to make rubbish yet AFAICT.
