I know this is a long shot, but I mostly get a blank stare from potential housemates when I suggest bringing bikes into the house 🙂
West or south-west ideally, but I'll consider anywhere...

Can't stay at mine, I'm afraid. too small, and too many bikes here already.
Living in a shared place, and having more than one bike in there, can cause problems. I had three in one place, and it was a cause for minor conflict, at times.
What you need is to find a place with a back yard, strong locks, and preferably a very high wall.
