Anyone ever been diagnosed with a heart murmur in middle age?

Not me, but a close friend had something show up on ecg, apparently they have a murmur and need to go for a heart scan. They had an ecg about 7 years ago which was clear apparently so doubt this is from childhood

I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’s benign however they have recently had a full suite of blood tests for something else and they were all clear so doubt it’s caused by something like iron deficiency or a thyroid problem

That said. They can still exercise with zero symptoms

Anyone similar experiences?
