Not you Woppit.

Just seemed a bit childish and stupid. Ignore the thread or contribute, but spoiling everyone else's fun is out of order imo, and just makes the culprit look a bit of a wally really. 😐

Well done Onion, how incredibly clever and witty you are.

To those who aren't experiencing the same problem; the lovely Hubble telescope pic seems to cause problems with the way the forum is working in Safari and Firefox on a Mac, at least. I've got round that now, but I wonder if those oh so clever and funny people such as Onion and LittleBoy realise the problems it can cause for STW? I mean, I no longer have the problem, but now can't see any ads...

And what does STW rely on to keep going and provide us with a lovely forum where we can all argue away to our hearts content?

Oh yeah, ads....

Yep. I couldn't work out what the wee nyaff was going on about until I did a "View Source" on the other thread. I'd hate to think that people would just start inserting random large images into threads they disagreed with/found boring.

So, it'll be ok to post that same image up on any of your threads then Onion?

Or maybe use it on, say, other forums which you like to use?

Reasons why hotlinks are bad, #327.

(No problems here, must be a Mac problem...)

I'm not having any problems here either.

Thankyou Druidh though for answering my question about what on earth Elfin was on about.

I think the trick is to do them long rather than wide.

So why do it again then?

You obviously have some issue with me for posting up the odd small image now and then, but why not just explain why?
