Got to change ours

Needs to wired and wireless, is this possible?

Any good places to buy all the kit?

We found two choices:
Professional supplied and fitted, can do anything including CCTV to your phone! Cost lots.

DIY. Screwfix do great deals, but you will read on the internet that crims can defeat them.

The threat we are dealing with are scum with screwdrivers and bolt croppers so we were happy to do DIY. It even rings three telephone numbers if it is activated.

For a good quality alarm, I only fit Honeywell, either the older G4, or newer Flex.
They are commercial alarms, which means fully customisable, ideal for houses too IMO.
The basic box is £45ish off ebay.
Wrieless sensors are £25ish off ebay (new if you keep looking), wired sensors are £10ish new.
You'll also need the wireless module for a G4 at £40ish, it is integrated in the Flex models, but they are £100+ new.
They are difficult to program, so you'll definitely need the Installer Manual, available from some places as a download.
Other fitters have their own opinions on what is the best.
