Inlet valve on the washing machine froze & split (machine in garage). Was spraying inside of the washer casing with water for a few hours before I discovered it, so looks like board, motor, pump etc has had a good soaking. Brought the machine indoors to dry out, & replaced the valve. Machine filling / emptying ok, but seems to trip out whenever it goes to turn the drum. Powering off/on resets the trip but it just goes again after a few secs.
Machine is a Hotpoint WML940, about 6-months old.
Looking at 13th Jan before a Hotpoint technician can come out.
Any ideas ?
