thinking of buying one for my 3 year old son- honestly.
read reviews and put off buy comments on short battery life.
has anyone got any experience or other r/c suggestions?

get one of the lego ones, hours of fun and he can customize to his hearts content.

Get a maisto rock crawler, we have got one for our 4 year old for xmas. They don't go too fast that they can't control it but can go over obstacles and stuff so much entertainment for them.
