Took the beast to the beach today for a walk, and on way back I noticed she had blood all over the seat. A quick examination shows a nasty slice on one of her paws, although it didn't seem to bother her and the bleeding stopped by the time we'd arrived home.
Any vets able to advise if I need to take her tomorrow to get seem to, or whether I can just dunk her paw in some water (with some tcp) and maybe put a bandage on it
I'm not qualified in any way but if ut was my paw it would be gettimg the standard.
Wash and super glue
She'll probably just lick it half the night and then be absolutely fine. Probably.

I usually work to 24hr rule with vet trips, leave it a day and if still a problem Then take the dog in.
I broke that rule on Sunday when mine was bitten by an adder though. I was at the vets in about 10mins and £160 worse off 10mins after that!
I’m not a vet but that pic looks okay, if it’s not bothering her and not bleeding I’d give it a wash and keep an eye on it.
I would dress that (gauze and some vet wrap if you have some). Change regularly and if not closed after a few days, see the vet. And look out for infection.
Dog pads heal super quickly and looking at the photo I wouldn't be rushing to the vets. I Have a dog with super short hair and therefore is very prone to cuts and damage in fact she's just had similar to her pad. If the dog doesnt sleep in your room with you I'd sleep with her nearby for next day or so to check she doesnt overly fuss it to give it chance to heal without being licked and chewed. Back off the walk distance and speed and areas you go for a day or so to give it chance to heal over. You'll probably find the loose bit will come off and will heal under it. I'd be tempted to vet wrap it for walks possibly when walking just to stop grit and moisture hurting it for her.
If dunked it in diluted tcp and wrapped it with an old sock until I can get a proper bandage. She doesn't look too impressed but not in any pain. I'll keep an eye on it to ensure it doesn't get Infected
One of mine did this over the winter. It was a small slice off the pad.
Took her to the vets who dressed it and after two weeks it was healed enough to not need a dressing.
Glad I took her even though it cost a bit with repeated inspections and fresh dressings.
If you don't stress the paw then the dog may continue to lick it and that's a bad thing.
Dressing needs to be kept dry all the time also.
IANAV but had working dogs for years and pad cuts are common. Generally vets won't stitch or glue unless they're super fresh due to the risk of dirt and foreign bodies in there. Better left to heal normally unless they're really deep.
Standard advice is keep it dry, keep it clean and stop them licking it for 7 days or so. Looking at that pic I'd dress it and cover it for a week and should be fine (changing dressing everyday). Don't over tighten vet wrap as it's springy and can tighten up. And a rubber glove over the top to keep it dry when they go out in the garden.
Your local vet surgery will sell you vet wrap and the softban stuff then you just need basic dressings from the chemist. Or you can buy it all from eBay / Amazon but it'll probably be healed by the time that arrives 😉
I’d be taking my dog to the vet if she had a cut like that.
Email your pic to the vet, see what they say?
