I had a massive stack there yesterday morning (9th Aug) and wanted to thank all of you for your help and give an update.
My mate took me to Exeter A&E for scans (and drugs). I walked in like a boss, before crumbling like a bitch..
Turns out I have fractured skull, vertebrae and ribs. The wonky vision was just my contact lenses thankfully. My poor mangled helmet saved my life... will post pictures when I get it back. Hopefully the bloke on the DH rig riding without one is reading this. It's up to you mate but for me it was life/death, just ponder on that.
Many thanks to the overworked staff at A&E and sorry if the state of me did actually put one of you off mountain biking, I hope not.
Now at home full of morphine and haven't had a crap in 28 hours so please forgive my writing.
