Basically need a ultrasound asap but everyone I've called is booked up or has limited following availability on the actual ultrasound (2nd) appointment.

Try http://www.bmtcentre.co.uk/ in Mossley. They fixed me. There is a certain amount of 'alternative' stuff there, but also some good physiotherapist and massage people. I've been seen by Max and Giselle; tell them that bloke who leaves his white racing bike downstairs recommended it...
