[Closed] Any nice beaches/harbours/seafood around Snowdonia/North Wales coast.

Mrs soap and I have 7days at the Egales cottages in Penmancno in sept.
So on a non riding day what else is there todo?
Any recommendations.

Go to Llandudno. Its a lovely unspoiled place. Get the cable car up the Great Orme, and wander down the pier Guy Martin did his programme on. There are some nice places to grab some lunch too

Been staying in Rhoscolyn for the last 2 weeks. Its got one of the best beaches I know

Sheltered horseshoe bay
Superb rockpooling
Great walks
A great pub nearby that does superb fresh seafood

Harlech can be nice, and often sunny there even if it's raining in Snowdonia

If you're heading for Beaumaris chances are you'll pass one of my favourite pubs.

Last went on the same day I rode Snowdon (4 years ago) - went up early, then headed to the Gazelle for lunch - great views across the Menai Straits

Lleyn Peninsula is amazing - look at an OS map as you have a lot of beaches to choose from.
