Thinking about getting one and hooking it up to my Philips HD TV via the HDMI. Does anybody here have one and run it in a TV via HDMI and if so how good is the image? Any issues setting it up, etc?

Well, I did have one until I ended up giving it to my mum for a couple of months a year ago!!!
I used to connect mine to my HDTV via a DVI -> HDMI cable and the picture was as good as my Apple TV. Pretty good, I would say.
Remember that a Mac Mini does not have audio coming out of the DVI port (unless you have a spanking new one with HDMI already!) - you'll need a cable to connect the audio out to the tv or amplifier somehow.
Running Frontrow works really well.

This won't help you much but a Mini is going to be what replaces my seven year old PowerBook in the new year, hooked up to my 40" Bravia.
