I'm not Hungarian, but having spent a fair bit of time there, I'm fairly confident it's Magyar.

Just checked, and yep, it's Magyar.
I work with a hungarian guy, one during lunch he asks (we drive buses btw) why do some drivers do this 👎👎 when going past another bus?
I explained that thumbs down means the police or camera van is ahead.
I asked why he seemed surprised at this, and he replied
“In my country thumbs down means an invitation to your sexual partner, to perform an act upon you”

I worked with a couple of Hungarians. They were fans of British comedy, and the Hungarian films they showed me were great and very much aligned with the British sense of humour.
I only know one word of Hungarian and by all accounts it's the only one you need: Badzmeg!
