been looking for a private sale as would rather do that way.
looked at gumtree/ ebay etc. are there any good ones, as iam fed up of dealer adverts.

oxford way bt ppared to travel a bit if its worth it.
autotrader seems to be 90 percent dealers these days, presume fees are high.
Auto trader has a van specific bit, ebay will have a lot of choice in that price bracket, you can screen out the dealers by setting the search to auctions and excluding 'buy it now' as the dealers usually use fixed price classifieds / BINs.
Theres not really anywhere else that private sellers sell that springs to mind. Theres Motor Market Weekly north of the border thats free to pick up in filling stations but finding a filling station thats not a supermarket is a challenge these days and with so many people using ebay the private ads in that are down to a trickle
In your price bracket though a lot of the choice will be dealers, its at the top end of the range where people will be prepared to buy and sell privately
