I have some data DVD's (computer program) that i need to copy (legally). Unfortunately i dont have access to a DVD writer at the moment, so i want to make an ISO file to store on my computer then burn that to a DVD at a later date.
Is there any decent free & safe software that i can use to do this? I looked at Nero 9 as i've used nero in the past on other computers, and was thinking of just using the time limited free download to make the ISO file. Or if theres any freeware people reccommend i'll use that.
I'm assuming this method will work? Does it make an exact copy that will 'autorun' from the dvd like the original?
another question...
The DVD's i need to copy are dual layer. When i reburn it from the ISO can i split the ISO from these into 2 single layer DVD's as they are data and not a film? (would it still install from the discs and just say 'insert disc 2' or something at the end of the first one?)
