Anyone want to do me a private external phone extension near Reading? BT have quoted a small fortune - straight forward external route, in through the wall and new box / socket on the other end...

very easy to do yourself. And perfectly acceptable if you have the split faceplate socket, its designed to allow the end user to add their own extensions

No split face socket so not so straightforward but sorted now - local chap popped out to look tonight and gonna sort it...
