I've got a BT Broadband account and assumed that it would include some personal webspace, but I can find no mention of it anywhere in either BT or BT Yahoo's help files. I have located an ftp server address but that's about it.

I couldn't find any. However you do get a free 'Pro' account on Flickr.

Cheers Spooky,

I've just got a pointer to this on a BT usenet group, it looks promising and it might help you too.

Doesn't seem to work for me...it just redirects me to the BT Yahoo personalised homepage. Let me know if you have any success.

It's working for me, although it looks like it's bog-standard no frills webspace.

The ftp server is ftp.btinternet.com

username is your full BT email address
password is your main email password

the http address is www.btinternet.com/~username where the username is the bit in front of the @ in the email address, so mine is http://www.btinternet.com/~pauldavis967/

Have a play and see if you can get it going.

haha, nice pjay.

I will give it another go, just realised I hadn't put the last slash in and the usenet group mentioned something about that...

You do need the ~ charactrr in your URL http://www.btinternet.com/ ~username.

I got this info. in response to my post on the BT support forum:

It is not activated until you upload a file so if you visit before you
upload anything then your browser will be redirected to the Yahoo login
page.
so it looks like you'll need to upload something first to avoid the redirection.
