As title,
Do any of the bikeradar forum mods come on here at all as Im having issues over there and the mods dont seem to reply to threads asking questions and just delete threads without warning !!

Wassup, I can wield the mod account of doom.
wysiwyg... I had a for sale thread on there that was within the guidlines etc and it was deleted without warning or reason !!
I then posted up a thread asking where my thread had gone and thats been deleted ??
Ive got a thread on there asking why they have been deleted but had no reply?
Sort of doing my head in as been on there since 2003 and it seems to be moderated more than this place now !!

Apparently I mis described the bike I am selling and there were lots of posts telling me so ??
I seem to remember no posts saying anything like the above although i do remember a couple of posts saying nice bike etc.
Another post was from dekadanse from these shore so he can verify what was said !

Unfortunately the forum's set to hard-delete so once a post's deleted, we can't view it- so can't check the details etc. Drives me nuts!
Thing is the traffic is so high that the more enthusiastic/committed mods are changing around hundreds of posts a day, and 9/10 of them are for standard rules infractions so they just get deleted. Not ideal, but it's all they can really do. I'm a crap mod, so I hardly do any posts- when I do I always PM why but if I did 10 times more posts I wouldn't 😉

Ive had a reply from nicklouse? saying I had miss described the bike I am trying to sell??
If thats the case then why is the new thread selling the same bike with the same info(cut and pasted from another forum) still up??
I used to go on bikeradar a lot but as you say its moderated to death now !!
As I said dekadense from on here can verify what the ad said so I know Im not in the wrong.
in fact would you mind awfully looking at my thread over there in the mtb bikes for sale (its at the top !) and honestly tell me what is wrong with the thread.

As far as I can tell Nick does about 9/10ths of all the modding on the forum, he's a machine... Have to say I've never seen him make an outright bad call, but he also seems to work entirely by memory rather than logging the posts, so it's possible he's misremembering.

As for being modded to death- For Sale was getting abused a lot and the tighter rules (must include a photo of your actual item in particular) has slashed that, we get amazingly few reports of fraud etc.

Yeah, I suspect that's it, there's a technical rules breach there though obviously no deceit. Should be pics of the XT brakes. personally I'm happy with it though.
