I think it was the term 'hard' and womens underwear he was s****ing at.

Not the fact that they are on their arse!

They'll be in even more trouble when the far racier Victoria's Secret arrives on these shores next year. That's where I buy all of my support girdles.

richie - this is STW. You know, the place where everyone is always after a bargain, where shops that charge RRP in order to maintain a living margin are "ripping off the punter", where the names of shops offering massive discounts to shift stock and fend off the creditors get passed around on a daily basis, where 13,000 banking/finance jobs are lost in a year and no one cares because "it's all the fault of those bankers".

You're working for a distributor. Have you reduced trade price and RRP on all your stuff so that the smaller shops can stay in business competing against CRC, Wiggle etc or do the big guys get the better deals? How is life on that high horse of yours?

For a lingerie store they always seemed to have far to many full length sets of pyjamas etc. (from what I could see passing by....).

Probably too niche (or not niche enough 😯 ). Be a loss to the people who work there and yet another load of empty shop fronts.

But hey there's no more boom or bust so that's good.

No I'm perfectly well supp... Oh the shop? Yes, if they'd had more support they probably wouldn't have thong under.

Glad to assist.

Pricing? Well, it's all about getting the most bang for your buck, isn't it?

Emsz, La Perla? Classy stuff! I knew you were better than La Senza!

Flavia Playsuit

What d'you 'play' in that then? Scalextric?

It does not in any way look very practical that, does it?

Thing is, La perla follows the rules of lingerie to the letter, so needs to be taken seriously, Senza is just a bit of fun.

La perla follows the rules of lingerie to the letter

There are rules? Other than "Make the wearer look more nekkid than they do when they're nekkid?"

Yeah course 🙄

1. must be stupidly expensive (otherwise all your saying is "not only do I want you to look slutty, but I think your a cheap slut")
2. Black or white, if not; nude or pastel. Never red unless asked for.

there's tons of stuff about styles and shapes as well.

La Perla...£500 for a bra!

Sweet Jesus, that seemingly overpriced Finisterre jacket I've bought for my girlfriend seems like a bargain now. Would rather see her in the Mezzanotte Suspender Belt Corset though

If I buy it for her in green, do you think I'd get away with telling her I chose it to pay tribute to her Irish cultural heritage...and then drop in the bit about me no longer being able to afford a holiday with her at a later date?

Nah, probably not.

must be stupidly expensive

Tell me about it; a few years ago I was forced to replace an item of ladies' undergarmentage what I'd (allegedly) damaged, yeah right cos it was all my fault oh of course, so off I toddle up to Rigby and Peller (Flashy knows it) with the product name an ting.

Thirty odd flipping quid. 😯 I woon't mind, but I cooduv easily got ten pairs of pants for meself for that money. M+S too, not cheap rubbish. And what I bought; well, let's just say it woon't keep you warm in Winter. 😳

£500 for a bra!

That's insane. World's gawn mayd. 😯

Sweet Jesus

Of Nazareth, no less.

You could buy a bike for that. No you actually could!!!

So £500 will result in a Hard Rock or a garment likely to lead to a hard err...actually, abandon response. 😳

Yeah you could get quite a nice little bike for £500 I'm sure. Speshly in the sales.

I'd expect her to make me a flipping model of St Paul's Cathedral out of matchsticks, for that sort of money!

Ooh look Tower Bridge and Big Ben too! Bonus! 😀

Well thanks Druidh. You've certainly taught me a lesson about retail, business, ethics and the economy. I'll go away and reassess our entire business plan right away.

I've been such a fool . . .

Its ok we don't shop there. My missus can't afford bras, she wears torn up old skirts for breast support.

Anyway, anyone know of £100 carbon bars in stock?
